Gary Burton is a vibraphone pioneer whose four-mallet technique revolutionized jazz. He’s won seven Grammys and has played with Chick Corea, Chet Atkins, B.B. King, Quincy Jones, and many more. As executive vice president of Berklee College of Music at the turn of the century, he was instrumental in the formation of Berklee Online, and he wrote the course Gary Burton: Jazz Improvisation.
