Dr. Lee Eliot Berk

Dr. Lee Eliot Berk was the second president of Berklee College of Music, serving from 1979 to 2004. Under his leadership, the college expanded its global reach, embraced contemporary music styles, and deepened its focus on music technology and business. He is the son of Berklee founder Lawrence Berk and the namesake of the school (his first and last names reversed spell “Berklee”), and he played a pivotal role in shaping the institution into a world-renowned leader in modern music education.
