Valerie Lovely is an assistant professor in Berklee’s Music Business/Management department and a practicing music attorney. Her clientele is limited exclusively to musicians, songwriters, publishers, record labels, and others with music law needs. A frequent guest speaker and former faculty member with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, she brings decades of legal experience to the classroom. Also a lifelong musician, Valerie has performed and composed across a range of styles and ensembles. For Berklee Online, she teaches Business Communications and Music Business Law for Artists, both of which she wrote.
